Karon is a beach town as it hosts the famous Karon beach which is among Phuket's popular holiday destinations. The beach is wide and long enough and never gets crowded. It has a calm sea with clear waters and beautiful views of the sunset. A wide bicycle and pedestrian path runs through the length of the beach where you can enjoy the view of the sea as you ride a bike or walk around on the white sand beach. At the southern side of the beach is a fine coral reef that stretches towards Kata Island. Karon beach is also rich in water sports activities and some of them you should try include snorkelling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and parasailing. This is a lake located in the Karon beach area that has a jogging and a cycling path. There are also several seafood restaurants along the lake serving fresh seafood which you should definitely try. There are also heavenly massage services offered in different spas which you should not miss out.
